The DuctWatch PIRDUCT by Det-Tronics is a fixed infrared gas detector specifically designed to monitor the presence of combustible gases within ventilation or exhaust ducts. Using non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) absorption technology, it ensures accurate detection of gaseous hydrocarbons (such as methane or propane), even under forced airflow conditions. It is installed directly onto the duct, allowing representative measurement without the need for external sample extraction.
